Slovenia – Supreme Court issues landmark decision in cancellation action
Katja Kovačič, a lawyer at ITEM, published in World Trademark Review (WTR) an article about the background and outcome of an invalidation action against a Slovenian national trademark, based on an earlier Community trademark (CTM). The Slovenian Supreme Court held that the mere lack of use of a CTM in Slovenia does not constitute a ground for rejecting an invalidation action against a Slovenian national trademark based on that CTM.

Slovenia – Earlier CTM loses priority date after being converted into national trademark

Slovenia - Court shifts burden of proof to defendant in parallel import case
